The Venue
In our bid to kick back against the current economic climate and the recent decline in iconic music venues, we are developing the church as a regular venue for live music, performing arts and community events. We offer an independant, not for profit environment for musicians and promoters to run regular events, as well as work experience opportunities for young people considering a career in the music or events industries.
At St Barnabas, we are committed to the inclusion and development of the local community. We offer the space to many local groups for meetings and rehearsal space, we run an annual community fete and have many more community events in development.
The Church
St Barnabas is an Anglican Parish Church which supports a diverse congregation in Bow, East London. Services are held on Sunday at 10.30am and 6.30pm and on Wednesdays at 6.30pm. The Parish Priest is Father Brian Ralph who has worked in East End Parishes for 11 years.
